Active 55+ Resident-Owned Community
MEDVIL HISTORY: In a 2015 interview with Manufactured Home Living News, an industry publication, Board of Directors President Kim Capen talks about how Medvil was formed and got its name and the pleasures of manufactured home living. Medvil is a Resident-Owned Community (ROC) for active people 55 and over.
We have 301 homes on our beautiful 154-acre site, which includes two clubhouses, two mailhouses, a horseshoe pitch, a bocce court, and many landscaped gardens. A walkable community, Medvil offers many scenic areas, including a quarter-acre frog pond with a dancing fountain and walking bridge over the spillway, plus a picnic area
furnished with tables and chairs. Medvil services include water and sewer; curb-side trash and recycling pick-up; street sweeping and snow plowing of the community's roads. A mere four miles from Exit 6 off I-293, Medvil is close to shopping of all kinds, hospitals and medical care, and the Manchester/Boston Regional Airport.
The videos below offer a brief look at Medvil: the first starts at the Donald Drive entrance and ends at the Donald Drive Clubhouse, also home to the site office. The second shows the Partridge Lane entrance to the eastern end of the Medvil Community's spacious property.
